‘Trust,’ starring Clive Owen, to block streets in Plymouth for filming

Downtown Plymouth is a Metro Detroit favorite for holiday shopping and strolls, but this week you have one more incentive to hit Plymouth’s main square.

British actor Clive Owen will be in town filming his newest project “Trust,” which also stars Catherine Keener and is directed by “Friends” star David Schwimmer.

According to to the Detroit Free Press, filming starts today in Plymouth and will go through this Friday, picking up again after Thanksgiving.Road closures will be on Church Street from Penniman to Harvey from noon to midnight on Wednesday and from 3 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday. Westbound Penniman from Harvey to Church will be closed between 1 and 4 p.m. Wednesday.

These roads are open to street residents.

Before the Trailer, a Web site that chronicles movie filming locations nationwide, says that “Trust” has already been filming at Dexter High School in Dexter.

“Trust” is about a family ripped apart when a 14-year-old girl falls into the trap of an online predator.

Owen and Keener play the girl’s parents.
